I’m back! Well, I’ve never actually been away, but I’ve not posted (here) for a while. Life’s pretty busy at the moment, with lots going on. I started a 50k word challenge on 1st Feb (after just not getting going with NaNoWriMo), which started well, but I’ve hit a block. On 16k so far, so a long way behind WIP target, but still pleased with that count. And what’s more, I’m enjoying the story, which bodes well. I’ll post a progress update shortly.
Writing group starts back on 2nd March, too, so looking forward to that.
Oh, and I was selected as a ‘runner up’ in Miranda Dickinson’s Future Stars contest. Always the bridesmaid…
16k is a great start even if you’ve not hit the targets you want to and if you’re enjoying the story then I’m sure your readers will too.
