Your type just ain’t welcome round here…

Looks like a campaign against Vincent Connare’s font, Comic Sans, is gaining momentum for some reason: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-11582548. I have no strong feelings either way, although I don’t like to see it used in formal documents (and perhaps even get a little irritated when I do).  It’s OK (and sometimes pretty good) for a party invite, or a blog post like this, even.

Incidentally, Vincent also created one of my favourite fonts – Trebuchet.

p.s. The noun ‘Trebuchet’ is supposed to be displayed in the actual font, Trebuchet MS. It seems WordPress’s grasp of HTML is worse than my own!
