13-year old’s observational humour

I’ve posted previously about some of the great things my 9-year-old has come out with. His older brother made us laugh earlier today. The conversation was with our Kiwi neighbours this morning (we moved to New Zealand last year):

Wife (Nurse): You need to go to the doctor’s to get that blemish looked at.

Kiwi neighbour: Ah, it’ll be right. I borrowed some cream for that from a mate.

Wife: You shouldn’t do that. You need to see a doctor.

Kiwi neighbour: No need. Us Kiwis always self-treat.

13-year-old son: That’s why there are only 4 million of you…
