Twitter story

Cat Connor and James Houston Turner held a  Tweet length Story Competition recently, and I’m pleased to say I’m one of the winners. Compared to Literature Bitch’s 6-word story, 140 characters felt positively roomy.

Here’s my entry:

First date. Shower – check. Shave – check. New jeans – check. Flowers – check. Breath-mints – check. Rohypnol – check. Cable-ties – check.
